Stage Play Presented by Maa Mangala Yatra Parivaar to Preserve Art, Culture, and Tradition
Kakatpur (Tushar Dixit), Date: 11/12 (Sunday): On the occasion of its 6th annual celebration, the Maa Mangala Yatra Parivaar of Prachi Bihar, Kakatpur, staged a social play titled “Rangila Radhika Rajani Gandha.” The event, aimed at promoting and preserving art, culture, and tradition, was chaired by Manas Swain.
Chief guest of the program was Subhrajit Mahapatra, Director of the renowned educational institution “Mahodadhi Educational Academy” in Konark. The keynote speaker was Professor Dr. Sangram Chatoi, an Odia lecturer from Mangala College, Kakatpur. Other distinguished guests included Kamal Lochan Dixit, President of the Kakatpur Press Club and Vice-President of the Sevayat Association; local Sarpanch Abhaya Sethy; teacher leader Hrudananda Sasamal; Professor Ajay Kumar Behera, Odia lecturer from Nimapada Autonomous College; Director of the event Akshaya Kumar Swain; and Editor Ramesh Chandra Parida.
The guests highlighted that this play served as a significant medium to define theatre and encourage the talents of rural youth artists. The drama, strongly directed by Dhruva Charan Khuntia and performed by local young artists, received high praise from the audience.
All members involved expressed their intent to make the event even more vibrant and grand in the coming year.
