First Annual Udbodhan Smruti Mahotsav of Pipili Satsang Bihar Celebrated
Date: 07/01/2024 (Pipili) — Today, the 136th birth anniversary of Param Premamaya Shri Shri Thakur Anukulchandra, along with the first annual Udbodhan Smruti Mahotsav of Pipili Satsang Bihar, was celebrated with great devotion under the guidance of Pipili Satsang Bihar and with the support of local devotees and volunteers.
The day began with Usha Kirtan, followed by Usha Binati prayer. A grand procession carrying the idol of Shri Shri Thakur was taken around the town as part of the Nagar Parikrama. Prior to the main satsang, a devotional Bhajananjali program was conducted.
The Satsang ceremony was officiated by co-priest Shri Gopinath Tripathy, attracting a gathering of nearly 2000 devotees. After the Binati prayer, spiritual teachings on “Satyānusaraṇa” (Following the Truth) were shared by Shri Prabhakar Behera.
The event was formally opened by Shri Rabindranath Kodamsingh, President of Pipili Satsang Center. Devotees immersed themselves in bhajans, chorus singing, and kirtans, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere. There was visible enthusiasm and joy among the devotees throughout the satsang.
The keynote address was delivered by co-priest Shri Bairagi Charan Sahu, followed by remarks from Shri Gopinath Tripathy, who also paid tribute to the center’s founder, the late co-priest Shri Krushnachandra Mahapatra.
Prominent volunteers and organizers from the Pipili Satsang Center who helped make the event successful included Lingaraj Pradhan, Gangadhar Nanda, Basudev Sahu, Kshetramohan Baral, and Santosh Kumar Das.
After the satsang, devotees partook in prasad at the Anand Bazaar and returned to their homes with hearts filled with devotion and the spiritual teachings of Shri Shri Thakur Anukulchandra.
