Demise of Eminent Businessman, Shadow of Grief Over Kakatpur
Kakatpur, 26/12 (Tushar Dixit) – Profulla Kumar Swain, a renowned businessman and social worker from Othaka village under Kakatpur Police Station, passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
At the time of his passing, his younger brothers Benudhara Swain, Bansidhar Swain, his daughters and sons-in-law, grandchildren, friends, and other family members were present at his side.
Late Swain was well-known in the area as a compassionate, soft-spoken, philanthropic, and highly sociable person.
After his mortal remains were brought to his residence in Puri, many political leaders, journalists, and prominent figures paid their final respects.
His body was taken in a grand procession to Swargadwar for the last rites. His younger brother Bansidhar Swain performed the last rituals (mukhagni), while family members, well-wishers, and friends offered their floral tributes.
