District-Level Election of Odisha Junior Teachers’ Association Held in Nabarangpur
Nabarangpur, 26/01/2025 – A district-level meeting was held at the Forest Park premises of Dabugaon block to elect representatives of the Odisha Junior Teachers’ Association (OJETA) from among the block-level delegates of junior (contractual) teachers working in various schools across Nabarangpur district. The meeting was presided over by teacher Jagannath Das.
During the meeting, Jagannath Das was unanimously elected as the President of the district committee. Rashmi Ranjan Sahu was selected as the Working President, while Smruti Ranjan Samal took charge as the Vice President. Mukunda Prasad Sahu was appointed as the District Coordinator, and Narendra Sunani was chosen as the Secretary. Ghanashyam Gand was named Joint Secretary, Nabakishore Karmi as Assistant Joint Secretary, and Aditya Narayan Satapathy as Treasurer. Sanjay Guman Singh assumed the role of Assistant Treasurer. Additionally, Prajna Paramita Ransingh was selected as the Women Coordinator, and Manoranjan Prusti was chosen as the Media Coordinator.
The block-level OJETA representatives were felicitated with flower bouquets and honored during the event. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks offered by teacher and active OJETA member Santosh Kumar Sahu.
