Over ₹50,000 Worth of Construction Equipment Stolen After Breaking House Lock

A theft incident occurred near Shrirampur village under the jurisdiction of Kakatpur police station, where unidentified miscreants broke into a store room at a house construction site and stole construction equipment worth over ₹50,000 on Wednesday night.

According to reports, the house under construction belonged to Vijay Kumar Sahu of Bajpur village and was located near Shrirampur. As usual, Vijay had secured all necessary materials inside the store room and returned home after locking it. However, during the night, thieves broke open the lock and made away with a generator, a water pump, two halogen lights, a spade, four mixing tubs, and various other construction tools and materials.

Following the incident, a formal complaint was lodged at Kakatpur police station. Police have since visited the site and begun an investigation into the theft.
