Short Animation Film “Shreekhetra” Launched by Kala Kshetra
Bhubaneswar: On the auspicious occasion of Snana Yatra, a short animation film titled “Shreekhetra” was launched by Kala Kshetra, a joint initiative of the International Council for Education, Employment & Empowerment and the Institute of Digital Media Technology. The launch event took place at the Shri Jagannath Temple premises (Chakadola Kshetra) located on the campus of the Regional College of Management in Bhubaneswar.
The International Council for Education, Employment & Empowerment continues its dedicated efforts to promote and spread Jagannath culture. During the ceremony, a decision was taken to produce a full-fledged feature film on Lord Jagannath. There are plans to ensure that this film reaches Jagannath devotees across the globe. The event was dedicated to Lord Jagannath, the presiding deity of every Odia’s heart.
Distinguished guests at the event included renowned Jagannath culture researcher Prabhat Kumar Nanda, Prof. Dr. Prabir Pal, Principal of RCM College of Management, Dr. Dillip Srichandan, Commander-in-Chief of Prerana International Green Army, retired IAS officer Madhusudan Mishra, Pradeep Tripathy, Director of the International Council for Education, Employment & Empowerment, senior journalist Abhimanyu Mahapatra, students and staff of the institution, and students from the Government Industrial Training Institute in Bhubaneswar.
The team from the Institute of Digital Media Technology managed the entire event, and Itishree Priyadarshini Patra delivered the vote of thanks.
