On the auspicious occasion of Amla Navami and Bada Ekadashi, the Shri Radha Utsav 2023 is being organized at the open-air stage of Sakhigopal Panchasakha under the initiative of the Department of Odia Language, Literature, and Culture, Government of Odisha. The three-day-long festival showcased a vibrant display of folk art on its second evening. Sunil Kumar Panda, Chairman of the Satyabadi Panchayat Committee, attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated the program.
During the second evening, various cultural organizations participated and enthralled the audience. Performances included devotional songs and folk music by Jayashree Dhal and her team from the Sur Vibeshan Institute, as well as the presentation of “Ganesh Nataka” by the artists of Anita Cultural Academy. The evening also featured performances by Veena Pani Kala Niketan from Anandpur, Keonjhar, and the Upendra Bhanja Folk Dance Council from Bhanjanagar. The day’s program was coordinated and conducted by Singhari Alok Khuntia.
