Rain Highlights Poor Education Infrastructure: Students Take Exams with Mugs on Their Desks
The poor state of education infrastructure has been exposed once again due to rain, as three students of the +3 program were seen taking their exams with mugs placed on their desks to catch dripping water. This unusual scene was reported from Dr. Shyama Prasad +3 Degree College, located in MV-79 under Kalimela Block of Malkangiri district.
On Tuesday, +3 Arts fourth semester examinations were underway. However, due to continuous rainfall, water was leaking through the roof, forcing students to place mugs on their tables during the exam to avoid water damage to their answer sheets.
While residents across Malkangiri are already suffering due to heavy rainfall, even students appearing for crucial exams are not spared from the inconveniences caused by inadequate infrastructure.
