The Shiksha Shree Awards Ceremony 2024 was organized by Jagannath Darshan Anusthan at the local Sanskriti Bhavan in Puri.
Jayanta Kumar Shadangi, former MLA of Puri Sadar, graced the event as chief guest, while the guest of honor panel included social worker Basudev Pati from Balangir, Engineer Surya Rath, former administrative secretary Binod Panda, intellectual Debashis Tripathy, social worker Chakradhar Mahapatra, and the coordinator of the organization Sanjeev Kumar Rath Sharma. The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before Lord Jagannath.
In their speeches, the guests emphasized that trees are life, and encouraged students to pursue education while also engaging in social service.
The event began with various cultural performances by students, including recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa.
Following this, eminent personalities were felicitated for their contributions in various fields. Additionally, 100 students who secured top positions in Class 10 exams from Puri district, along with 8 toppers from +2, were awarded by the guests. Each awardee was also presented with a tree sapling under the message “One Tree, One Life.”
The event concluded with coordinator Sanjeev Kumar Rath Sharma expressing heartfelt thanks to all participants and extending gratitude to the organizing team.
