Justice Aditya Mahapatra of the High Court Visits Banpur’s Maa Bhagabati Temple
Banpur, 23.06.24 – Renowned Justice Aditya Mahapatra of the Odisha High Court, who hails from Kumaranga Shasana in Banpur, visited the sacred Shakti Peeth of Maa Bhagabati with his family to seek the divine blessings of the goddess.
Upon his arrival at the temple, senior priest Krutibas Mahapatra and chief servitor Sanjay Mahapatra performed special rituals and puja on behalf of the visiting dignitary. After the darshan, Justice Mahapatra held a brief discussion with the temple servitors regarding the temple’s affairs.
For the occasion, Banpur police had made elaborate security arrangements. Officer-in-charge Sri Debata and other police personnel were present to maintain order. Also in attendance were members of the Banpur Municipal Court and other staff, along with the temple’s executive officer and employees, ensuring Justice Mahapatra had a smooth and respectful darshan.
Before concluding his visit, Justice Mahapatra made a stop at his ancestral home in his native village of Kumaranga Shasana, taking a walk down memory lane.
