MLA’s Surprise Visit Leaves Everyone Stunned

For the first time since the change in government, a review meeting was held in the Satyabadi Block. MLA Om Prakash Mishra attended the meeting for the first time and reviewed various development activities in the region. The session took place yesterday afternoon.
In the presence of departmental officials, sarpanchs, nominees, and committee members, the MLA reviewed issues related to electricity, agriculture, flood and cyclone preparedness. He questioned departmental officials in detail about each matter.
Despite the rain following the meeting, MLA Om Prakash Mishra made a surprise visit to the Sakhigopal Community Health Centre, walking through the rain. He closely examined the conditions and spoke directly with doctors, patients, and staff about the facilities and challenges.
Although new construction work had taken place at the hospital, waterlogging was observed in several areas during the rain. The MLA was visibly distressed and remarked that under the 5T initiative, funds appear to have been misappropriated rather than properly utilized. He raised critical questions on whether people are truly being benefited or exploited by the 5T model.
He stated that he will soon discuss with the Health Minister how to transform the Sakhigopal hospital into a modern healthcare facility, ensuring proper development and public benefit.
