Former Students Relive Old Memories
A reunion of the 1966 batch students of Kakatpur Government High School was recently held at the local Deuli Math. During the event, the former students fondly reminisced about the memories, experiences, and various incidents from their student life that occurred 57 years ago. The gathering was filled with joy as they shared those precious moments with each other.
They also remembered their late teachers, fellow students, and the educational journey of that time, creating an emotionally charged atmosphere. Some of the participants, now in the later stages of life, spoke about how their families — including their sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren — care for them with affection and respect. These reflections were shared in heartfelt conversations among the old classmates.
Notable attendees who actively participated and contributed to the event included Surendra Nath Mishra, Bishnu Charan Mohanty, Ramesh Chandra Dixit, Ram Chandra Nayak, Rabindra Nath Dixit, Krishna Chandra Gochhayat, Bhramara Bar Raut, Benudhara Sahu, and Laxmi Dutta Shadanghi. They not only supported the event but also took the initiative to clean the road leading to Deuli Math.
Their active involvement in organizing the event, despite their advanced age, became a topic of admiration and discussion throughout the area.
