Untimely Demise of Senior Member of Satya Narayan Youth Club
Kakatpur, 07/08: Niranjan Mishra (56), a prominent social worker from Shukapokhari village under Kakatpur Block and a senior member of the Satya Narayan Youth Club, passed away unexpectedly last night. Following the spread of this news, a wave of grief swept across the Kakatpur constituency.
According to sources, Niranjan Mishra suddenly experienced chest pain at his residence in Bhubaneswar. His family members immediately rushed him to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar, where doctors declared him dead during treatment.
As soon as the news of his death reached Kakatpur, many well-wishers, club presidents, secretaries, and members visited his residence for a final glimpse. For the villagers of Shukapokhari, Niranjan was a compassionate friend, always ready to help others. His sudden demise has deeply saddened many in the community.
Former Zilla Parishad Member Chhabindra Parida expressed that his passing is a significant loss to the region. His mortal remains were carried through the village in a grand procession, and his final rites were performed at Swargadwar in Puri.
His only son, Aroshwati Mishra, performed the cremation rites. Attending the funeral were his younger brothers Chittaranjan Mishra and Gyan Ranjan Mishra, along with Upendra Nayak, Kartik Parida, Suryakanta Mishra, Saubhagya Ranjan Mahapatra, and Soumya Ranjan Das, among others.
