Aditya Observes “Serving Humanity is Serving God” as a Life Mission
Kakatpur, 10/09: Blood donation is a noble act of giving. Journalist Aditya has taken this as a personal pledge. Whenever poor patients in hospitals struggle desperately to arrange blood, Aditya appears like a savior. Known not just as a journalist and social worker, Aditya has earned a special place in people’s hearts for his unwavering dedication.
Blood donation is equivalent to giving life. There are many who are always ready to donate blood and save lives. Aditya, a youth social worker and journalist from Jiunti village under Astaranga block of Puri district, is one such individual. Since his college days, he has been actively donating blood and helping save lives. He finds immense joy in this selfless act and becomes fully involved—day or night—whenever he hears about a blood shortage.
Having pledged himself to saving lives through blood donation, Aditya has now become a figure of admiration. On Sunday, during a mega blood donation camp organized by Astaranga Block Youth BJD under the “Mo Parivar Jeevan Bindu” initiative, he completed his 50th blood donation.
In recognition of this achievement, he received a certificate of honor and shawl from the Hon’ble Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs, and Home, Shri Tusharkanti Behera. The felicitation was also attended by Swadhin Kumar Nayak, Vice-Chairperson of Puri Zilla Parishad, Subhasis Khuntia, coordinator of Puri District Jeevan Bindu, Prashant Kumar Nayak, President of Astaranga Youth BJD, Kedarnath Biswal, President of Astaranga Block BJD, and youth social worker Satyabrata Lenka.
