KBM Kids Public School Celebrates Annual Function; Dibyaranjan Praised by Parents
Kakatpur, 26/11 — Although many schools have opened in Kakatpur, simply teaching young children from books isn’t enough to help them uphold the honor of their families and villages. Proper values and guidance are essential to ensure they grow up knowing how to maintain respect for their family, community, and society. This is the core mission of KBM School.
With this vision in mind, Dibyaranjan established KBM School in the Kakatpur area in the name of his mother. Today, the school celebrated its first annual function — “Kanchana 0.1” — on the school premises under the leadership of director Dibyaranjan Sahu.
The event began with the unveiling of a poem by the chief guest, State Sports, Youth Affairs, Trade & Home Minister Tusharkanti Behera. The main speaker was Block Education Officer Dillip Kumar Jena. Other key guests included Puri Additional SP Bishnu Prasad Pati, Nimapada SDPO Prabhat Kumar Mallik, Additional Education Officer Pankajini Dei, and others, who all highlighted the importance of KBM School in providing quality education to rural children.
Among other dignitaries present were Kakatpur IIC Umesh Kumar Sahu, Astaranga IIC Rajesh Baliarsingh, and educationist Prashanta Kumar Sahu.
During the celebration, outstanding students were recognized and awarded for their excellence in sports. The event was chaired by Lakshmi Priya Biswal, who thanked all the guests, students’ parents, and spectators. She shared that by the end of the coming year, the school aims to provide ambulance services, a goal that Dibya reiterated in his address. He added that this initiative would greatly benefit the underprivileged by bringing essential services closer to them.
The function concluded with cultural performances by the tiny tots of the school. Their delightful presentations drew great excitement from parents and staff, who thoroughly enjoyed the program
