Free Dental Camp Held at Puri Govardhan Peeth

A free one-day dental treatment camp was organized in the premises of Govardhan Peeth in Puri by the Adityavahini organization. The event was inaugurated in the presence of many saints and monks by Swami Nirvikalpananda Saraswati Maharaj, the personal secretary of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Maharaj, along with Rishikesh Brahmachari.
With the support of Balaji Superspeciality Hospital in Bhubaneswar, a total of 72 individuals received dental checkups and were provided with oral care kits. The camp was conducted under the direct supervision of Dr. Sanjeeb Raut from the hospital. Other doctors and staff from the hospital also extended their cooperation in the camp.
Members of Adityavahini, including Matruprasad Mishra, Eng. Prashant Kumar Acharya, Purnachandra Khuntia, Sangram Kanungo, Ajay Gochhikar, Kumar Bhimsen, and Ramachandra Dalai, were present at the event.
The program was coordinated by the organization’s secretary, Bishwashanti Tripathi, and city secretary, Tanmoy Chatterjee.
According to Shri Debashish Mishra, the media head of the Peeth, there are plans to continue such initiatives in the future by inviting reputed and well-known doctors to provide free medical treatment in the monastery premises. This initiative is expected to benefit the residents of Puri significantly.
