78th Independence Day Celebrated in Kakatpur

The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with grandeur across various government and private institutions in Kakatpur, Puri district.

At 7:00 AM, students from Kakatpur High School, Kakatpur Nodal Project High School, Ramakrishna Sishu Mandir, Saraswati Sishu Mandir, Jahan Public School, and KBM Kids Public School participated in a morning procession and paraded through the local market area, chanting patriotic slogans.

Similarly, the national flag was hoisted at the Kakatpur Tehsil Office and Maa Mangala Trust Board office by Tehsildar Ankita Anindita, at the Kakatpur Block office by BDO Bishnu Gobinda, at Kakatpur Police Station by IIC Bijaya Ketan Behera, at the Kakatpur Press Club by Press Club President Kamal Lochan Dixit, and at Maa Mangala Auto Association by IIC Behera.

Despite heavy rain in the morning, the students enthusiastically marched through the market, shouting slogans in honor of the nation’s freedom fighters, demonstrating their patriotic spirit.
