Teacher’s Day Celebrated at Bhagabati Nodal School

Teacher’s Day was celebrated at the premises of Bhagabati Nodal School, located in Bajpur village of Kundhei Panchayat under Kakatpur Block. The event marked the 133rd birth anniversary of former President of India, great philosopher, and eminent thinker Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The celebration and Guru Puja ceremony were held under the chairmanship of Promod Kishore Das, President of the school’s alumni association.
Ankita Anindita, the Tahasildar of Kakatpur, attended the event as the Chief Guest. She inaugurated the function by lighting the ceremonial lamp and addressed the students, saying, “A teacher is always a fearless, guiding force. Whether in happiness or sorrow, gain or loss, in involvement or renunciation – the advice of a teacher is always valuable.”
The event was graced by Dr. Ramachandra Behera, former head teacher Prafulla Kishore Das, retired headmaster Surendra Kumar Kar, retired teacher Bhramarabar Sahu, retired headmaster Promod Kishore Prusty, village head of Bajpur Poornachandra Sahu, alumni association secretary Surendra Kumar Manik, school management committee chairman Pradip Kumar Prusty, along with all teachers and students of the school. All the guests paid floral tribute to the oil portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan in a solemn act of remembrance.
