Massive Blood Donation Camp Held in Puri: 96 Units of Blood Collected

On the occasion of World Voluntary Blood Donation Day, a grand blood donation camp was organized under the leadership of State President Jitendra Mahapatra by the leading social organization “Apananka Sebare” in collaboration with Odisha Blood Centre, Puri. The event took place at the Sadbhavana Hall of Gopabandhu Ayurvedic College, Puri.
Recognizing the noble cause of blood donation as the greatest form of service, several members and volunteers of the organization came forward to donate blood. A total of 96 units of blood were collected during the camp. Notably, there was enthusiastic participation from the youth, who turned up in large numbers to contribute.
The event commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting by dignitaries including CDMO of Puri District Hospital Dr. Rupabhanu Mishra, Dr. Deepak Sahu (DBO), Preetiranjan Nayak (Blood Centre Counselor), senior guide Manoj Rath, State Secretary Chittaranjan Bishwal, Vice President Bijay Krishna Brahma, Puri Branch Secretary Biranchi Narayan Mishra, and State Spokesperson and Media Coordinator Jagadish Pradhan.
The program was well-coordinated and successfully managed by members and volunteers of the organization such as Sudarshan Sahu, Ranjesh Sahu, Mita Barik, Satyanarayan Jena, Debendra Maharana, Chandan Brahma, Sisen Pratihari, Manjushree Dash, Arjun Behera, Binod Senapati, and staff from the Blood Centre.
