Goddess Lakshmi Worshipped with Grandeur at Lakshmi Bazaar

The goddess of prosperity, Maa Lakshmi, is being worshipped with great devotion and celebration at the main market of Kakatpur. Like every year, this year too, the beautifully decorated Lakshmi Bazaar has become a center of devotion, adorned with vibrant lighting and decorations. With the support and cooperation of all local traders, a free offering of Prasad (sacred food) was distributed to devotees.

As part of the event, a special bhog (offering) was prepared, which included khichdi, rice, dalma, khatta, and kheer. This Prasad was served to devotees visiting both the market and the nearby Maa Mangala temple. According to senior member Sudhanshu Bhushan Dixit, food was prepared for around 800 to 1,000 people.

The event was smoothly managed by Lakshmi Bazaar committee members, including President Ratikanta Behera, Vice President Himanshu Bhushan Dixit, Secretary Saroj Samal, along with Ajay Nayak, Shyam Sundar Rana, Bipin Sahoo, and Pritam Nayak. The main devotee of Maa Lakshmi and the proud organizer of the event, Prasanna Kumar Nayak, proprietor of Mangala Lodge, along with his wife Kailani Nayak, played a key role in organizing the event.

All traders of Lakshmi Bazaar actively participated and extended their full support in making the celebration a success.
