First Preparatory Meeting Held for Mangala Mahotsav

The first preparatory meeting for the upcoming Mangala Mahotsav was held on Wednesday at 5 PM at the Irrigation Guest House in Kakatpur. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the Mangala Mahotsav Committee and local MLA, Shri Tushar Kanti Behera.
It was decided that the three-day-long Mangala Mahotsav will be organized from March 7 to March 9. During the meeting, discussions were held on addressing the shortcomings observed in the previous year’s festival and ensuring this year’s celebration is more grand, smooth, and well-coordinated.
Among others present were Vice Chairman Swapneshwar Sahu, Secretary Swadhin Kumar Nayak, Committee Members Samarendra Dixit, Jnana Ranjan Sahu, Joint Secretaries Kamal Lochan Dixit, Himanshu Bhushan Dixit, Jyotirmaya Dalai, Tushar Ranjan Dixit, Aditya Kumar Raut, Kailash Chandra Nayak, Pradeepta Kumar Dixit, Pradeepta Kumar Panda, Manas Samal, Manas Kumar Dixit, journalists Bhagabata Swain and Prabhas Kumar Prusti, Kshetramohan Dash, Executive Officer of Mangala Temple Kailash Chandra Dash, and Chinmaya Polei.
During the meeting, the responsibility of completing the registration process of the Mahotsav Committee within the next month was assigned to Vice Chairman Swapneshwar Sahu.
