Annual Celebration of Child Protection Force Observed
Delang, 15/12/2024 – The annual celebration and service felicitation ceremony of the Child Protection Force was organized on Sunday at the “Sai Amrutsabha Mandap” near Arishala Chhak in Delang block. The event was a collaborative initiative of the Child Protection Force and New Odisha News Live. Hundreds of volunteers from the Child Protection Force across various districts including Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Bhubaneswar, Dhenkanal, and Jajpur participated in the gathering. They highlighted the importance of child rights awareness campaigns and called for collective action.
The event, held under the chairmanship of Rajkishore Mohanty, the chief organizer and founder of the organization, featured several eminent speakers. Among them were senior advocate of the Odisha High Court Himalaya Satapathy, professor Shishir Mohapatra, Subhalaxmi Samantray, Shwetapadma Mishra, Mamata Rath, Jayashree Patra, and veteran journalist Prasanna Tripathy. These guests shared insights on various aspects of social work and journalism related to child protection and rights.
The executive chairman Basudev Sethi coordinated the event proceedings. On this occasion, social workers and journalists who have made significant contributions in the field of child protection were honored with certificates of appreciation, shawls, and commemorative plaques. Deeptranajan Mohanty, Himanshu Mohapatra, and Subhalaxmi Senapati also actively assisted in managing the stage and event coordination.
