2nd Anniversary of Pipili Satsang Bihar and 137th Birth Anniversary of Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra Celebrated

With the blessings of Pipili Satsang Bihar and the cooperation of local devotees and volunteers, the 137th birth anniversary of the revered Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra, along with the 2nd annual inauguration celebration of Pipili Satsang Bihar, was observed with deep devotion and joy. The day began with the early morning Usha Kirtan followed by Usha Binati (prayer at dawn). A grand procession (Shobhayatra) of Sri Sri Thakur took place as devotees circumambulated the town with great reverence.
Prior to the main satsang, a high-quality devotional music session (Bhajananjali) was organized with the collective efforts of young local singers. Following this, under the priestly guidance of Ritwik Sriyukta Rabindranath Kodamasingh, the satsang commenced. The gathering witnessed a large turnout with nearly 2,500 devotees in attendance.
After the opening prayer, Satyānusaraṇa, the spiritual teachings of Thakur, were recited by volunteer Sri Kamal Lochan Behera. Devotees immersed themselves in bhajans, chorus songs, and kirtan, filling the environment with devotion and enthusiasm. A special spiritual excitement could be felt among all attendees.
Ritwik Brajabandhu Swain offered the introductory speech, followed by the keynote address delivered by Ritwik Kumud Chandra Pradhan, who reflected deeply on the messages of Thakur. The program concluded with Ritwik Bairagi Charan Sahu presenting Thakur’s teachings in a musical form.
After the satsang, devotees gathered at Anand Bazaar to partake in prasad and returned home carrying the essence of Sri Sri Thakur’s philosophy in their hearts. In the evening, the premises of the satsang center resonated with the sounds of evening prayers (Sandhya Binati), scripture recitations, kirtan, and Harinam Sankirtan.
Key volunteers from the Pipili Satsang Kendra who contributed to the success of the event included Gangadhar Nanda, Lingaraj Pradhan, Himansu Swain, Basudev Sahu, Kshetramohan Baral, Santosh Kumar Das, Bijay Kumar Kodamasingh, Subash Chandra Khuntia, Pramod Swain, and Prabhakar Behera.
