Mandal-Level Admission Festival and “Khadi Chhua” Program Held by Education Department in Kakatpur

Today, across the state, the government organized the Admission Festival and Khadi Chhua programs in all schools, marking a memorable start for early childhood education. Children will now receive the best and most quality education, with the implementation of the New Education Policy – 2020.
On this occasion, “Shishu Batika” (Pre-Primary Class) was formally launched on April 2nd for children starting a new academic journey. Along with this, the Admission Festival and Khadi Chhua programs were conducted.
Kakatpur Tehsildar Ankita Anindita, Kakatpur Police Station IIC Umesh Chandra Swain, and Block Chairman Sridhar Nayak attended the event and flagged off the Education Awareness Chariot to promote educational awareness.

This chariot will travel across Kakatpur block for five days, informing parents about the importance of quality education. Parents will be encouraged to enroll children aged 5 and above into the Shishu Batika class in government schools.
Present at the event were the Block Education Officer-in-Charge Brahmananda Kandi, Cluster Resource Centre Coordinators (CRCCs) including Malik Jakir Hossain, Bishnu Charan Sahu (Head Teacher of Othaka School), Durga Prasad Dash, Ranjit Kumar Nayak, Bishnu Charan Subuddhi, Alim Khan, Ranjan Kumar Behera, and CRCC Santosh Kumar Sahu. Along with them, all teachers and teaching staff of the school were also present.
The event began with a ceremonial worship of the Education Awareness Chariot, and the honored guests officially inaugurated the event by displaying flags. The program was organized with the support of teacher Trilochan Biswal.
