Celebrating the Roots of Vedic Excellence
Puri: 5/10/2025 – Shree Jagannath Rashtriya Adarsh Veda Vidyalaya, Puri (Odisha), under Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Veda Vidya Pratisthan (MSRVVP) , Ujjain (M.P.), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, joyfully celebrated its foundation day।
The event commenced with blessings from the presiding deity of Shree Kshetra, Lord Shree Jagannath Ji, followed by a Veda Sandesh Yatra chanting the slogan “Protect the Vedas – Protect the Nation” from Singh Dwar to the Central Sanskrit University, Shree Sadashiv Campus at 6:30 AM.
More than 300 students and Vedic teacher-mentors from 5 Veda Pathshalas operated by the MSRVVP in Shree Kshetra Puri, along with 13 Guru-Shishya Parampara Units, participated in this event.

Assistant Director Dr. Lavii Tyagi ji, representing the headquarters in Ujjain (M.P.), witnessed the teachers of Shree Jagannath Rashtriya Adarsh Veda Vidyalaya perform Chaturveda Swahakar — a ritual involving chanting Vedic mantras from all four Vedas for world welfare.
Under the guidance of Dr. Saurabh Bandopant Shastri ji, representing the MSRVVP, a Vedic quiz and Chaturveda Mantra Antyakshari were conducted to enhance students’ interest in Vedic studies.
The Chief Guests included Prof. Divakar Mahapatra, Executive Member of the MSRVVP, Ujjain, and Shree Mahesh Sahu (Shree Soni ji), Provincial Preacher of Vishva Hindu Parishad, Utkal Pradesh. They addressed teachers and students, encouraging the preservation of the oral Vedic chanting tradition. The event concluded with heartfelt thanks to all invited guests and Vedic Gurus.

This grand event succeeded fully with the abundant blessings of Hon’ble Education Minister Shree Dharmendra Pradhan, guidance from the Pratisthan’s Secretary, and support from citizens, teachers, and Vedic scholars of Puri.
