Deepa Behera, the Sarpanch of Beerarama Chandrapur under Satyabadi block, has tragically died in a road accident. According to reports, the incident occurred while she was returning from a wedding feast in Nimapada along with a relative on a motorcycle.
Near the Delta Chhak area of Nimapada, the bike reportedly went over a speed bump, causing her to fall off the pillion seat. At that moment, a highway truck coming from behind ran over her head, leading to her death on the spot.
