Odisha’s New Chief Minister Visits Satyabadi
Satyabadi, 13.06.2024 (Saswat TV) – After taking oath as the new Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi made his first visit to Puri, where he had darshan of Lord Jagannath along with all newly elected MLAs and MPs.
Following the Mangala Alati ritual at the Shri Jagannath Temple, all four gates of the temple were opened for devotees. The Chief Minister joined devotees, sevayats, and leaders in circumambulating the temple premises.

After the darshan of Lord Jagannath, the Chief Minister proceeded to Satyabadi, where he visited Suando and paid homage at the ancestral home of Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das. He offered floral tributes in memory of the great leader and interacted with local villagers while walking through the village.
He also visited Utkal Park and toured the museum there. On this occasion, he was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Pravati Parida, Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, MP Dr. Sambit Patra, Shri Pratap Sarangi, Pipili MLA Ashrita Pattnaik, Satyabadi MLA Om Prakash Mishra, and senior temple servitor Madhusudan Singhari, among other leaders.
