Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, Pipili MLA Arshita Pattnaik, and Satyabadi MLA Om Prakash Mishra Visit Mangala Temple
Kakatpur, 13/06 (Tushar Dixit) – Following the swearing-in of the new BJP-led government in Odisha, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida visited the revered Maa Mangala Temple for darshan. She arrived at the temple gate around 1 PM on Thursday, where she was welcomed by BJP workers with flower bouquets. As she proceeded towards the temple on foot, chants of BJP slogans echoed in the surroundings.
Accompanying her were BJP leaders and candidates including Baidhar Mallick, Dibakar Chatoi, Sudarshan Swain, Saroj Samal, and Sridhar Nayak, who escorted her to the temple. Upon arrival, the temple administration, sevayats (priests), and senior BJP workers warmly welcomed Deputy Chief Minister Parida and the two MLAs with flower bouquets and ceremonial offerings, before escorting them into the temple premises.

After a brief interaction at the temple trust board office, the Deputy Chief Minister proceeded into the sanctum for darshan of Maa Mangala. She was accompanied by sevayat Mihir Ranjan Dixit, who also offered uttariya (sacred cloth) on behalf of the deity to the Deputy CM and the two MLAs.
Following the darshan and rituals, Deputy CM Parida stated that all pending development initiatives for Maa Mangala Temple, which were underway during the previous government, will be strengthened further. She also assured that all promises made by the BJP before the elections will be fulfilled in a phased manner very soon.
She concluded her visit by engaging in a detailed discussion with sevayats regarding the temple’s affairs and development.
