Oath Taken to Develop India’s Art and Culture with Panch Pran at Bharat Rang Mahotsav
On the occasion of the Bharat Rang Mahotsav organized by the National School of Drama, a vibrant celebration was held at the Satyabadi Sangeet Mahavidyalaya campus. The event began at 4 PM under the chairmanship of editor Shri Badrinarayan Khuntia, with the collective support and coordination of all officials of the institution.
As part of the program, the concept of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The world is one family) was beautifully performed by students of the college — Chirasrota Khuntia, Meera Das, Rajlakshmi Nayak, Anvesha Rath, Swayamsmita Sahu, and Pallavi Khuntia. The piece was written by Purnendu Tripathi, with Achyuta Maharana directing the music, Somya Ranjan Nayak accompanying on instruments, and Lingaraj Swain choreographing the dance.
At the conclusion of the event, all students and staff members took a firm oath to develop and promote India’s rich art and cultural heritage through the five guiding principles (Panch Pran), and to strive toward making India a global leader — Vishwaguru.
