Foundation Stone Laid for Three Projects by Kakatpur Rural Development Subdivision

On Thursday, the Kakatpur Rural Development Subdivision officially laid the foundation stone for three major development projects. These include the construction of the Rameswar Bridge near Panichhatra over the Prachi River under the Biju Setu Yojana at an estimated cost of ₹7.40 crore, the Bhaunria Nala Bridge in Astaranga under the Pradhan Mantri Missing Link Yojana at a cost of ₹5.45 crore, and the new office building for the Astaranga Rural Development Subdivision at a cost of ₹1.29 crore.
The foundation stones for these projects were laid in a traditional manner with coconut-breaking rituals by Tusharkanti Behera, MLA of Kakatpur constituency and Minister; Kumar Nayak, Vice-Chairman (Independent) of Puri Zilla Parishad; and Jyortimaya Dalai, former Chairman of Puri Zilla Parishad.
Present at the ceremony were Satyajit Dalai, Executive Engineer of Nimapada Rural Development Division; Trilochan Patra, SDO of Kakatpur Rural Development Subdivision; engineers Rashmi Behera and Krushna Chandra Tada, along with other officials who actively participated in the event.
