Children Become Master Chefs on Foundation Day
The 17th Foundation Day of St. Xavier’s High School, located in Pipili, was celebrated with great enthusiasm on the school premises. The celebration was held under the chairmanship of Managing Director Shri Ajay Kumar Mishra and led by Headmistress Smt. Simita Tripathy. Trustee member Shri Pramod Kishore Tripathy graced the occasion as the chief guest and inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Following the inauguration, students welcomed the guests with songs and dance performances.
One of the major attractions of the event was the second annual food exhibition. For the event, students brought a variety of delicious dishes from home and creatively decorated their food stalls using their culinary skills. More than 100 students participated in the exhibition, supported by Vice Principal Abharani Panda and the entire teaching staff.
Shri Pramod Kishore Tripathy inaugurated the food stalls prepared by the students and toured each stall along with parents, teachers, and fellow students. Everyone selected and tasted dishes according to their preference and even offered cooking tips to the young chefs, which boosted their confidence and enthusiasm.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ajay Kumar Mishra expressed that the purpose of the food exhibition was to foster enthusiasm and camaraderie among students while preparing them to be self-reliant and employable in any situation. He also extended heartfelt thanks to the teachers and parents for their support. Parents were delighted to witness the energy and creativity of the students and appreciated the school’s initiative wholeheartedly.
