Blood Donation Camp to Mark the Birthday of Young Journalist Epili Purnachandra
On the occasion of his upcoming birthday on Thursday, 27th February 2025, young journalist Epili Purnachandra has chosen to celebrate the day through a unique and noble cause. Instead of a conventional birthday celebration, he has decided to dedicate the day to public service.
He will observe his birthday at Om Jara Ashram located in Ambagada under Kukudakhandi block, where food distribution will take place. Additionally, on 28th February 2025, a blood donation camp will be organized at the Kukudakhandi Gram Panchayat office. The goal of the camp is to collect 60 units of blood, and it will be held from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Hon’ble Sanakhemundi MLA Shri Ramesh Chandra Jena will attend the camp as the chief guest. Distinguished guests expected to attend include Ajit Patra (model and social worker), Pintu Jena (social worker), P. Shivaprasad Dora (social worker), Bikash Pashupalaka (social worker), Ram Subramanyam Pradhan (Police Officer), Pallavi Swain (Group Development Officer), Sapan Kumar Sahu (Tehsildar), Shivaji Patra (lecturer), Ashok Brahma (President, Brahmapur Journalists’ Association), Bandana Sethi (Sarpanch), Vibhu Prasad Patra (College Principal), Debajani Das (IOB Bank Manager, Kukudakhandi), Manisha Jena (Utkal Grameen Bank Manager), Madhusmita Padhi (Headmistress, Govt. Nodal High School, Kukudakhandi), Block Vice Chairperson Bishnupriya Patra, and Zilla Parishad member Shibani Sethi.
